The Crown Netflix series, What Is Your Review…?!

I’m not familiar with the life of the Royal family, though I have a deep interest in WW2 and post era. The reason why such shows succeed (other than the brilliant production, of course) is because we’ve all been seeing these characters all our lives but can hardly relate to them. The Crown shows you that the Queen is also a human (not your next-door neighbor, though) who was born in exceptional circumstances and had to make hard choices for doing what she thinks was best for her family and her country, much like the regular people.

The grandeur of the setup is beyond words.

What I loved the most, probably like others, is the acting. It’s as if Matt Smith was born to do this! I haven’t seen any of Claire Foy’s work before this, but I can feel that she is the Queen! also, John Lithgow’s portrayal of Churchill is brilliant, he totally makes me want to hate him (and also poke his huge belly, lol).

The narration and the production are exquisite, you totally start to believe that you’re living in the ‘50s!

Overall, great show! Totally recommended!
